In case you haven’t heard, macrame is back! Whether you’ve got a closet full of old macrame creations, or you’re new to the craft, you’ll have a blast tying one on in this fun, relaxing workshop!
In just a few hours, textile artist Amanda Smith will teach you about (or refamiliarize you with) the materials and tools required to do macrame. Then, you’ll learn how to form a few of the basic macrame knots and practice your knot-tying skills while making a simple keychain. Ultimately, you’ll create a beautiful, 10” tree-of-life dream catcher that you’ll be proud to hang on your wall or give as a gift.
No previous macrame experience required, but you should have an average amount of arm/hand strength and fine motor skills.
