The 2nd Annual Appalachian Ginger beer release and weekend of celebrating Appalachia will continue with a local Makers Market, art installations, and the Deli Llammma food truck.
Ginger’s Revenge, Asheville’s first and only brewery focused on the production of alcoholic ginger beer, will release its second annual Appalachian Ginger, a limited edition ginger beer featuring 100% locally grown ginger and a combination of warming spices. Last year, the release generated so much excitement that this year’s release will be part of an entire weekend celebrating the artists and makers of Appalachia. All of the ginger for this special, limited brew was sourced within 25 miles of the Ginger’s Revenge brewery from Rayburn Farm.
A small market of local Appalachian artists and makers will take place inside the tasting room on Saturday, November 17th from noon to 6pm. Vendors include: AppalaChai (chai tea), Cotton Blossom Press (letterpress calendars, cards & prints), Elder & Co. (candles), Fox & Fir Design (eco shirts & stickers), Hap Mountain Herbal (lip balm & skincare), Red Moon Herbs (herbal products), Spoon + Hook (wooden wares), Wehrloom Honey (honey and honey products). Deli Llammma, local fusion food truck, will be on site from 1-7pm.
