Amanda Anne Platt has been described as "easily one of the best songwriters coming out of Western North Carolina these days" (Martin Anderson, WNCW), with a voice that "sings like Carolina farmlands after a rainstorm" (Harvey Robinson, Monkeywhale Productions). She is the songwriter and lead singer for the Asheville-based band The Honeycutters.
Rebecca Pronsky is a born and raised Brooklynite whose music is “as urban as it is rural, not afraid to be sophisticated” (Maverick). Her songs are gritty and dark, layered and dreamy, bravely disobeying the usual conventions of the Americana genre
