French Broad Chocolate Factory & Cafe

French Broad Chocolate Factory & Cafe, located at 821 Riverside Drive in Asheville, is an experiential bean-to-bar, craft chocolate production facility designed for our guests to learn about cacao, see chocolate being made before their eyes, and taste cacao and chocolate in various forms. The cafe is open daily from 8-8, with tours scheduled every day.

Hickory Nut Gap

Hickory Nut Gap Farm is a 5th generation family farm founded in 1916 by Jim and Elizabeth McClure.  Fourth generation farmers, Jamie and Amy Ager, have an on farm store and butcher shop, a history barn, baby animals, and market their pasture raised meats in the Asheville area and beyond.  

Highland Brewing Company

Highland Brewing Company was founded in 1994 as Asheville’s original craft brewery. Family-owned with a focus on sustainability, Highland is committed to brewing quality and innovative beers. Highland’s hilltop brewery is home to its Taproom as well as an industrial-chic Event Center and Rooftop bar, both of which are available for private events.

LaZoom

Looking Glass Creamery

Located just outside of Asheville, Looking Glass Creamery has been crafting award-winning, traditional cheeses by hand since 2009. Started by husband and wife team Jennifer and Andy Perkins, and now encompassing a family-owned farm, dairy, and cheese shop, Looking Glass has become integral to the vibrant Western North Carolina food culture."

The Omni Grove Park Inn Seely Pavilion

This Arts & Crafts inspired pavilion was designed to honor the style and craftsmanship of the historic Inn and to showcase the natural beauty of the resort. The structure features exposed trusses, polished concrete floors, a stacked hearth around a large fireplace, and six pairs of floor-to-ceiling doors and windows that offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountain range.

S&W Building

Designed by well-known architect and Asheville resident Douglas Ellington in 1928, the iconic S&W Building is considered to be Ellington’s greatest contribution to the Art Deco style. From 1929 - 1974, thousands of people visited each day to enjoy food and camaraderie in this architectural jewel of downtown Asheville.

Thomas Wolfe House

A giant of American literature, Thomas Wolfe immortalized his childhood home in his novel, Look Homeward, Angel. Wolfe’s colorful portrayal of his mother Julia as “Eliza Gant” proprietress of “Dixieland” the Old Kentucky Home boardinghouse, earned the Victorian period house a place as one of Asheville’s most famous landmarks.
