Kala Brooks is a seasoned bartender who has spent the last 8 years of her career focusing entirely on classic pre-prohibition cocktails. Taking pride in serving hand crafted cocktails, featuring only house made local-centric ingredients, she found a home in Asheville as Curator of Top of the Monk, (Southern Living Magazine's #1 Bar in NC, 2018). When not behind the spoon, Kala spends more time than she'd like to admit in Asheville's dining rooms, and loves food culture. Brooks is also a featured bartender on Liquor.com, a contributing writer for Punchdrink.com, and has been highlighted in numerous publications including Food & Wine Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Garden & Gun, The NY Post, Imbibe Magazine, Departures Magazine, Fodors and Yahoo Travel.
Over 20 immersive signature events are featured throughout the weekend! Tours, dinners, parties, foraging and more await.
