A native of Destin, Florida, John Justice grew up understanding the value of fresh, locally-sourced food, creating community through large family-style meals and spending every free moment on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. After graduating from the University of Florida, John cut his teeth in marketing and business development in the furniture manufacturing and aerospace industries. Seeking a change of pace and a career that he felt passionate about, John discovered his appreciation for the rich craft of winemaking and the community every bottle creates. In 2014 John joined Biltmore Winery and is currently their Regional Sales Manager for North Carolina. He is continuing his wine education through the Wine and Spirits Educators Trust program and feeds his need for nature by paddleboarding down the French Broad most Sunday mornings.
His key food philosophy to live by? The most important ingredients of cooking is a good record playing and the marination of the chef.
