Co-host and senior producer Jen Nathan Orris is a public radio storyteller and magazine editor. She produces a weekly radio series for ASAP, Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project, and is contributing editor at WNC Magazine. She has lived in Asheville and reported on the region's food and farms since 2008.
Co-host Cass Herrington is a reporter and the Morning Edition host at BPR News. She is a Murrow award-winning radio producer and journalist and was named “Best Reporter” by the Associated Press Broadcast Association in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. A Kentucky native, she moved to Asheville in July 2018.
