Emily Copus is the founder of Carolina Flowers, a 3-acre flower farm and design studio in Marshall, North Carolina, just north of Asheville. Carolina Flowers grows specialty blooms for wholesale, florists, farmers markets, restaurants, weddings and more. The business includes a full-service florist, which provides local flowers for weddings throughout Western North Carolina. Copus is interested in adding beauty to the world through flowers, but also in making a strong case for local, specialty agriculture as an industry that can create jobs and support families.
