Echoview is an eco-friendly fiber mill and design house based just outside of Asheville. We make craft yarn, homegoods, apparel, and accessories out of wool, alpaca, and other natural fibers. We are a team of creative and environmentally conscious creatures of comfort and are proud to make work that reflects who we are in a style that is both playful and modern. Echoview was founded in 2012 by Julie Jensen with a vision to create a place where small farmers could turn raw fiber into a value added product. Her dream was to create a mill of the future and it was one of the first fiber mills to be built in the area in 40 years. She went even further by creating the first Leed GOLD certified fiber mill in America. Since that time, Echoview has built its own brand and developed a product line that incorporates local fiber into products that are sold to yarn shops and retail stores all across the country. Julie has provided mentorship and guidance to a growing group of motivated individuals who are proud to make up her team.
Beyond being a manufacturing space that includes yarn spinning and a knitting room, Echoview also contains a retail shop, classroom, dye garden, and a space for yoga and tai chi. All of this is housed within a light filled and spacious building powered by an array of solar panels, and is open to the public as a space of learning and relaxation.
