In 2003, Curt Horn joined Biltmore as Grounds Maintenance Manager, rising to become Director of Grounds Operations in 2017. His responsibilities include overseeing grounds maintenance operations, field crop production, and wildlife management for the 8,000-acre estate. Before working at Biltmore, Horn spent 22 years with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. He holds an associate degree in Forestry from Southeastern Illinois College and a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management from Eastern Illinois University.
