hilary nylander + amber jensen = ha!
The origins of ha! began one year ago when Hilary and Amber met for the first time in amber's studio and talked the better part of a day away about space making, mark-making, working across mediums, what it feels like to belong wherever you are, hiking into the woods, the homes we grew up in and our Scandinavian roots. With so much in common we decided to begin exploring how we might mash up our talents and passions. One year later, after many meetings and heartfelt conversations, we co-created ha! shop studio and gallery on Main Street in Marshall, NC - the small mountain town we had grown to love and hoped to impact positively during this time of exciting revitalization.
Featuring drawings and handwoven works designed by amber m. jensen alongside additional artists’ works in glass, ceramic, jewelry, painting and more, ha! is a joyful exploration into creative works of all kinds and the fantastical sense of belonging that arises in the spaces in between - where friends, neighbors and strangers alike are not only welcome, but encouraged to add to our story. We can’t wait to invite you in!
Over 20 immersive signature events are featured throughout the weekend! Tours, dinners, parties, foraging and more await.
