I discovered my love for woodworking when I moved to Asheville. I needed furniture for my home and one day decided to try making a couple side tables. Using a hodgepodge of materials I picked up at Lowe’s, I created two crude tables at best. But what I quickly realized was that the process of making something with my own hands out of wood was incredibly enjoyable. Over time, I refined my style and started putting my creations out there. People were buying my creations and it became clear that I could make something of my newfound love.
The name Crafted Glory comes from my views on good design. I believe the benefits of good design extend into so many areas of society. We were all created in the image of a master Designer who went at incredible lengths to put intricate detail into the created world, making immeasurable galaxies, towering mountains, breathtaking landscapes, and millions of interesting living creatures. And all of it is a testament to the infinite magnitude of His glory. I feel that it is an honor and obligation to design beautiful things to the best of my ability to point to a creative God who placed creativity inside of me.
