Connie Matisse is the Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder of East Fork. She grew up in Los Angeles, California, but her daughters, Lucia and Vita, are Asheville born and bred. She bopped around in the food and beverage industry for a decade—working behind bars, waiting tables, selling wine, milking goats, shearing sheep, and baking Belgian pastry—before joining forces with her now husband, Alex, and their business partner, John Vigeland, to helping build a sustainable, equitable ceramic manufacturing business here in our Western North Carolina home.
