Up your picnic game with the help of a seasoned professional—the prolific local author of a do-it-yourself handbook detailing 20 themed picnics and more than 70 outdoor-ready recipes. Get ideas for celebrating all seasons of blanket dining, enjoy samples of basket-ready bites, and leave with tips for pulling off epic mealtime celebrations, sans hiccups, as well as a copy of A Year of Picnics.
What I'm thinking of is a class that sort of guides folks through all of my in-the-trenches, tried-and-true tips for pulling off epic picnics without hiccups. I'd share information on picnicking essentials, including considering weather and location, equipment, packing, and food safety and care. I'd pull from my book to create the lecture. I'm imagining that yes, it would just be me talking. I could demo a recipe from the book, and how I'd pack it for a picnic. I think including a copy of the book in the cost of tickets would be a great idea, so that the cost of the seminar includes the book, the lecture/demo, and some samples for class attendees of recipes in the book.
