Festival Overview

Chow Chow: An Asheville Culinary Event, presented by Kimpton Hotel Arras, celebrates the area’s unique community of makers, each adding singular ingredients to the city’s recipe for its culturally diverse culinary identity. From nationally recognized chefs such as Jose Andres, Katie Button, Ashley Christensen, and Vivian Howard to multi-generational farmers and millers, bakers, potters, weavers, and brewers, Chow Chow shines a light on the ancient creative spirit of the region that continues to make the Blue Ridge Mountains a delicious place to taste, to see, to explore and to experience through immersive culinary experiences.

Manna Packs for KidsWhen you buy a ticket to Chow Chow events, we hope you will consider making a donation to our 2019 Charity MANNA FoodBank! All donations will be given directly to MANNA's Packs for Kids program.

MANNA FoodBank fills plates for 100,000+ people facing hunger in WNC every year – including 1 in 4 children. Just $12 can provide a child with a pack of food for every weekend for a month, when they are away from free school meals and facing an empty kitchen at home.
