Enjoy 18 acres of non-stop music over three days as you "Rock the Barn!"
Kick off fall on an area farm with one of the biggest local music festivals of the season: Asheville Barnaroo 2016 at Franny's Farm in Leicester (just 20 minutes from downtown Asheville). The festival, put on by Skyland Automotive and musician Andrew Scotchie, is designed to showcase and celebrate local and regional singer-songwriters and bands.
More than a dozen performers of genres from Rock & Roll to Americana to Funk will take the stage. Grammy-nominated "YARN" will headline the lineup. In addition to great music, there will be local beer from Hi-Wire Brewing and local eats from Farm to Fender Food Truck.
The festival is a fundraiser to help give back to the local youth music community through Asheville Music School. Student bands from AMS will also perform.
Barnaroo is scheduled for September 30th through October 2nd. Tickets are required Friday and Saturday, but Sunday is free to the public.
