Calling all "Spreadheads"! Widespread Panic, the band famous for never playing the same concert twice, is coming to downtown Asheville for a two day event at the Asheville Civic Center on April 8 and 9. Opening for them is JJ Grey & Mofro, a funky soulful band from Jacksonville, Florida.

Widespread Panic is an American rock band from Athens, Georgia. Since their inception in 1986, they have risen to elite status among American jam bands. The current lineup includes guitarist/singer John Bell, bassist Dave Schools, drummer Todd Nance, percussionist Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz, keyboardist John "JoJo" Hermann, and guitarist Jimmy Herring.


Tickets are still available for either night or you can buy a two day pass. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster - $43. 40 for a single night admission and $79.80 for both nights. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
