Where to Find Peak Fall Color Right NowWeekly Foliage Reports Now Available.
Asheville boasts one of the longest fall color seasons in the country (maybe even the world) with fall foliage beginning to show on the highest elevations in late September. The color then spreads down and across the mountains during October and into the lower valleys and fothills in early November. Here's a 3D satellite visual for how the color progresses through the elevations.
Plan out your leaf peeping adventure with our weekly color reports, which are now available. They are updated each Thursday and offer the best hikes, drives and deals for the week ahead, plus specific places where color is at peak.
