The Other Side of Biltmore
Asheville Insider Tip: Biltmore Offers More Than History.
Many people visit Biltmore to tour the famed house, marvel at the beautifully landscaped gardens and try the free samples at the winery. While those are definitely must-do activities, don't miss out on the other offerings located around the 8,000 acre estate.
Get an intimate glimpse into the lives of the Vanderbilt family. The Vanderbilts at Home and Abroad sheds light on the time that the Vanderbilts spent together at Biltmore and beyond. The exhibit can be found in Antler Hill Village.
Friday's After Five
Every Friday during the summer months you can sit on the lawn of Antler Hill Village and enjoy live music, food, spirits and activities for the kids (grape stomp anyone?). This is a free event, included with the cost of admission.
