Take the Show on the RoadBus Tour Pairs Craft Beer & Local Beats
yoga to dessert, and bathing to running, life in the Blue Ridge Mountains is just better with a craft brew.
Now a new tour will marry Asheville's hot brewery scene with something else we're famous for--live music.
LaZoom Comedy Tours is recognized for their strikingly purple buses and hilarious characters that pop up all over town, but their new Band & Beer Bus Tour will be a new kind of ride.
The 21-plus tour will feature local bands playing on board the bus as passengers experience a number of Asheville's breweries. The initial line-up for live music includes local favorites like Firecracker Jazz Band and Empire Strikes Brass, and the 3-hour tour will include half-hour stops at breweries plus scenic rides between sites to allow passengers plenty of time to enjoy both beer and music.
Focused more on "fun" than "funny," the tour will run on weekends at 2 p.m., departing from the new Tasty Beverage Company in the South Slope. Tours begin on June 13th, and tickets are available for $29 each at LaZoom's downtown ticket booth or on the website. Cheers!
