Parades
Nov. 17: 66th Annual Asheville Holiday Parade The parade will feature about 90 entries, including marching bands, dance teams, local non-profits and businesses and much more! Santa will make his usual appearance, and after the parade, will head to Pack Square Park to meet the public.

Holiday Displays
19th Century Carolina Christmas The Smith-McDowell House Museum is decked in Victorian holiday decor. Candlelight tours available by reservation for groups of 12 or more.

Christmas at Biltmore 
Holiday traditions return to America's largest home. Regular admission applies until dusk. Additional charge for Candlelight Christmas Evenings, Nov. 9-Dec. 31.
National Gingerbread House Competition Judging is Nov. 17. Entries on display Nov. 20-Jan. 2 at The Grove Park Inn. Community viewing recommended Monday-Thursday. Parking $10.

U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Display The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will be on display at Asheville Mall from 1:30 to 4:30 pm in the parking area between Barnes & Noble and Sears. The tree has been wrapped and is being transported to Washington, D.C.
