Asheville has been buzzing about the upcoming visit from the world-traveling chef, author of Kitchen Confidential and host of television's No Reservations, Anthony Bourdain. His upcoming event takes place at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on Saturday, November 5 starting at 5PM.
Speculation exists on where Bourdain may eat while in town. Asheville's Foodtopian Society certainly offers many choices for the chef who has visited Asheville once before.
For certain we know that he will be at Cúrate, downtown Asheville's newest hot spot, for a VIP dinner following the speaking engagement. Cúrate chef and co-owner Katie Button has been working very hard to create a menu for patrons attending this special book signing event. Want to go? Keep reading.

The VIP tickets include the lecture by Bourdain as well as a Q&A session with the audience. In celebration of Tony's travels to Spain, including his recent visit to Ferran Adrià's elBulli, the "best restaurant in the world," we are also offering a limited number of special, Spanish-themed VIP tickets to the event.
Each VIP ticket includes:
• Post-show meet & greet/book-signing with Anthony Bourdain
• Premium seating for Anthony Bourdain's talk and Q&A at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium
• Access to a private VIP after party at Cúrate, bar de tapas, in downtown Asheville,
immediately following the show, featuring:
