Virtual Sunrise Service at Chimney Rock State Park

Celebrate the glory of Easter with song, scripture and spiritual music as a spectacular sunrise ascends over Lake Lure. Chimney Rock’s nondenominational Annual Easter Sunrise Service has become a legendary event in western North Carolina. This year’s service will be streamed virtually on the Chimney Rock Facebook page. Please tune in at 7 am on April 4 to celebrate the 65th Annual Easter Sunrise Service.

The grand Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn of Biltmore House is a beloved annual springtime tradition. In 2021, the hunt takes on a new format with social distancing and safety top of mind. Super-sized Easter Eggs will be placed in Biltmore House and around the Estate. Participating children (ages 9 and under) will receive a Scavenger Hunt Guide to check off each egg they spot while on their “hunt.” When your child has completed their hunt, visit Antler Hill Village for a treat bag that includes, candy, crayons, coloring pages and a commemorative Easter Egg. A limited number of treat bags will be handed out from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The Easter Scavenger Hunt is included in daytime admission.
Easter Experience at Montgomery Sky Farm
April 2-3, 2021
Celebrate Easter outdoors at Montgomery Sky Farm in Leicester. Meet, greet and feed treats to baby animals, including goats and highland calves. Visit with the Easter bunny and have those special moments captured professionally by Squirrels Nest Photography. At the end of your session, you’ll take home an Easter treat. This socially distanced and masked event is $200 per family.
