AnTHM, A Black Mountain art gallery specializing in art, threads and heavymetal pieces, is hosting a special toast to the Taste of Black Mountain event with an Effervescent Art Show on Thursday, May 19 from 6 - 8:30 PM. The show is meant to cap off The Taste of Black Mountain with a celebration of effervescent artists and refreshments (bubbly and chocolate-covered strawberries from local merchants). The event will honor the colorful oil on canvas landscapes of North Carolina artist Ed. Fadool, acrylics on canvas by New Orleans artist Jackie Garness, Black Mountain photographer and master print-smith Cornelia Katchen and Montreat fabric landscape artist Klesa Colgrove. Live music provided by Black Mountain cellist and violinist Julia Weatherford.
"We are thrilled to honor our amazing effervescent artists, both established and emerging" says gallery owner Cappi Macsherry. "We hope guests attending the Taste of Black Mountain will join us afterwards for this remarkable show."
AnTHM Gallery is located at 100.5 West State Street in Black Mountain. For more information you can call 828-419-0049 or visit their website.
