Biltmore Opens New Living Hall
Restoration Update: The First of Two Rooms Officially Opens.


The curator team at Biltmore has placed finishing touches on a re-envisioned living hall. The second floor room was previously an exhibit space, and now features beautifully reupholstered settees, ornate light fixtures and classic paintings of Vanderbilt/Cecil family and friends.



A second room is currently undergoing restoration and will be completed by October 1, 2013. For more information see here.


Upcoming events at Biltmore
September has been proclaimed “North Carolina Wine & Grape Appreciation Month." Biltmore is celebrating with wine dinners and winery activities throughout the month, including tastings, tours and music.


SPECIAL WINE EVENTS
September 13:  Moveable Feast Wine Dinner
Enjoy a rustic al fresco dinner inspired by the harvest season on scenic Dry Cow Hill. Guests enjoy a five course dinner at sunset, prepared tableside by Estate Executive Chef Damien Cavicchi and paired with Biltmore wines.   


All month long: The Dining Room at the Inn on Biltmore Estate will offer a special North Carolina wine pairing menu. A new menu will be created each week and will be an option alongside the regular dinner menu.
