ArtsFest Takes Over UNCA Campus This Week

ArtsFest Takes Over UNCA Campus This Week
Inaugural festival features 60+ events over 4 days

Two Grammy-winning acts headline the first-ever ArtsFest on the campus of UNC Asheville, but that's just the beginning of this four-day tribute to the arts in Asheville and beyond.

Hometown performers the Steep Canyon Rangers and David Holt will each take the stage during the festival, held April 10-13. Other performances include four opportunities to see a student production of A Midsummer Night's Dream and a full day of music and dance presented on an outdoor stage in the center of campus on Saturday, April 12.

In addition to performances, the festival also features dozens of lectures, exhibits and workshops in photography, new media, and literature, including a keynote address by N.C. Poet Laureate Joseph Bathani.

Check out the full schedule of events and purchase tickets on the UNC Asheville ArtsFest website.
