Local fans of American Idol finalist Caleb Johnson will have the opportunity to congratulate the rock n' roller this weekend during a hometown visit, which will include a parade, public appearance and free concert in downtown Asheville.

Caleb's position among the Top 3 was confirmed during Thursday night's results show, following a Wednesday night performance of Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name," Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Travelin' Band" and Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed." During next week's competition, he will be vying for a win against Jena Irene and Alex Preston.
