Asheville Insider Tip: Explore the NC Arboretum, an Outdoor Masterpiece of HorticultureLocated on the intersection of Brevard Road and the Blue Ridge Parkway (milepost 393), the North Carolina Arboretum is a 434-acre campus containing 65 acres of cultivated gardens. Here you'll find the Bonsai Exhibition Garden, 10 miles of forested hiking and biking trails, garden tours, Art Walk, nature activities for families, and changing exhibits on the fields of science, art and cultural history.

Parking is $8 per person vehicle, $30 per commercial vehicle and $50 for buses. Insider tip: Plan a visit on the first Tuesday of the month and parking fees are waived.
