We are excited to re-introduce the White Horse Singer-Songwriter Circle!

There’s something special about songwriters getting together, sharing songs, exchanging ideas, inspiring one another, and building a creative community. The Singer-Songwriter Circle is a relaxed and supportive place to do just that.

Songwriters of All Experience Levels Welcome

The Circle is open to acoustic songwriters at every level—from someone working on their first song to experienced and professional writers. Bring an original song to share, hear what others are writing, and connect with fellow songwriters. You’re also welcome to simply come and listen. The Circle is free and open to the public.

How the Circle Works:

We’ll sit in a circle and take turns sharing original songs. If attendance is large, we may divide into smaller groups so everyone has an opportunity to share. This is a songwriter circle rather than an open mic or jam session. The focus is on the songs themselves, the songwriting process, and supporting one another as writers.

Singer-Songwriter Circle Guidelines:

Original songs only. No covers.

Acoustic instruments only. No backing tracks.

Keep songs under four minutes so everyone has time to participate.

Be respectful, courteous, and encouraging of every songwriter, regardless of experience.

Feedback is optional. If you’d like feedback on your song, just let the group know. Critiques are entirely optional. Positivity critiquing only. This is not an open mic for performances, generally, you're presenting a song for feedback.
