“TUIB (pronounced twihb) is a Yale University undergraduate group that has a repertoire that ranges from the bluegrass tunes of the Appalachians to traditional Irish ballads, the folk-rock hits of Bob Dylan, and contemporary jams of Brandi Carlisle to the country-rock hits of Beyonce and Jerry Reed. We sing four-part folk harmonies and accompany ourselves on guitar, banjo, fiddle, viola, mandolin, and harmonica.”

B-Sides is Montreat Colleges Advanced Rock Ensemble

The B-Sides are a six-piece rock-soul fusion band that was born out of late-night jam
sessions at their college-band rehearsal space at Montreat College. What started as a
group of friends experimenting with sound quickly grew into something bigger—an
undeniable chemistry that could only come from shared passion and countless hours
playing together.
Blending the raw energy of rock with the depth and groove of soul, the band has built a
sound that’s both electric and heartfelt. Each of the six members brings their own unique
background and influence, creating a dynamic mix of driving rhythms, fun vocals, and
funky melodies.
Now stepping beyond campus stages and into the professional music world, the B-Sides
are dedicated to carving out their own space. Their music is about connection; about
bringing people together in the same way they were brought together in the first place:
through the power of the shared love of music.
