Flamenco Appalachia

Flamenco Appalachia is dedicated to fostering the growth and appreciation of authentic Flamenco dance and music. Since its inception, the organization has been committed to providing high-quality instruction, performance opportunities, and cultural enrichment through this dynamic art form. Flamenco Appalachia aims to preserve and celebrate the rich heritage of Flamenco in Western North Carolina. Flamenco Appalachia has made its mark by performing at notable venues such as the LEAF Festival, The Diana Wortham Theater, The Grey Eagle, First Fridays Mars Hill, and similar events across Western North Carolina. Guitarist Jake Mossman and dancer/choreographer Paola Tinoco share a mission to promote the true spirit of Flamenco by offering Flamenco guitar and dance classes, and providing dedicated students with authentic performance opportunities. The spirit of Flamenco is found in sharing this love with students and with the public.
