Ellen Trnka Blues

Ellen Trnka is a versatile Western North Carolina-based vocalist and musician recognized for her work in jazz, blues, country, and folk, frequently performing in the Brevard and Hendersonville areas. Known for a soulful vocal style inspired by Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin.
Originally from NYC, she has been singing professionally for over 30 years in blues and jazz bands, trios duos and as a solo singer songwriter. She has played prestigious venues from New York City all the way down the Eastern seaboard. Ellen Trnka has opened for Phoebe Snow, Saffire, The Marshall Tucker Band and John Pizzarelli.
