David LaMotte and Friends

David LaMotte is an award-winning songwriter, speaker, and author who has performed more than 3,000 concerts across all 50 U.S. states and five continents. Over his 30-year career, he has released 13 albums of original music, including Still, which reached #4 on the Folk Charts, while its single “September Me” climbed to #1 on folk radio.

LaMotte has appeared at renowned festivals including Kerrville Folk Festival, MerleFest, the National Folk Festival of Australia, and the Auckland Folk Festival. His music has earned numerous awards, been featured in films and on national television, and includes the song “Dark and Deep,” which appeared alongside artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Suzanne Vega, Grace Slick, and Aimee Mann on the literacy benefit album Songs Inspired by Literature: Chapter One.
