We stayed two nights.  The site we were given was barely long and wide enough to accommodate our RV so we had to park the truck in an alternate spot.  At one point my husband temporarily parked in an empty lot next door (while setting up) and we received a phone call that we need to move it immediately or be charged.  We were 20 feet from the office - she could have walked over and said it.  Lot across from us had 7 dogs.  Yes 7 and all, including ours, were barking at 7 am.  A crew was working on pouring new concrete around the pool and using the women's restroom.  My daughter was showering and one of them used the combo and opened the main door.  He did leave immediately when he realized someone was inside.  So much for a safe bathroom/shower combination lock.  Why not give them the men's combination lock for access????  Showers were clean but old.  The fan had several years of dust and  cobwebs.

With our site, and many other sites, you had to back up a steep incline to reach the site. Narrow sites, ours was dirt, very little grass. Picture shows huge mud puddle after a rain. Our site had a guide wire for an electric pole running across the back, so we couldn’t back up as far as we would have liked to reach the sewer connection. Laundry was a hike. Bathrooms not the cleanest and lights burned out. Wouldn’t recommend.

Location is excellent but that’s about all I can say. Not allowed to walk inside the office to check in. Had to stand at a window in the cold to receive our site. Were given a site that barely accommodated our rig and truck when the ones directly across from us were empty and twice as long. 
Woke up early one morning (still dark) to walk the dog and could see a lone figure manipulating the power station across from me as a red light was blinking rapidly. It was dark so i hurried back inside after my dog barked at him. I observed him from inside my RV  lingering around the vacant site for quite some time and attempted to call the office to advise someone of what I saw, but there was no after hours availability. Since there was no occupied site in the immediate area, I’m fairly certain it was a vagrant. 
I didn’t like that there wasn’t really a dog walk area as published. There is a large strip of grass that isn’t much different than other areas in the park. 
It is not likely we will stay here again. 

Not what we were expecting

Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida

My husband, and our four children were passing through Asheville on our way to Boone. While traveling on 40, pulling our camper,  we had a breakdown with our truck. We were able to get our truck somewhere to have it fixed overnight, but when looking for a place to stay, this was one of the first places I called. They were so nice and accommodating, gave us a spot for the night even with a little discount. We truly appreciate their Kindness when we were in a tight situation. Highly recommend!! 

So helpful to us in a desperate situation!! 

Offers 100 RV sites with full hookups including cable TV and heated pool. Convenient to Asheville, Biltmore and other local attractions. Shady sites with views of mountains.
