Went back to spend more time at Gallery after a full first day on theHop On/Hop Off tour the previous day that didn't allow enough time for the GPI internal shuttle and a tour of the gallery.  Well worth the the visit.  
The arts and crafts collection is the best I have seen in AVL - the fine pieces are exquisite and unique.  I've visited many collections but didn't see things here that I had seen all over AVL. Granted, not all pieces are AVL artists but the Craftsman style is prevalent and well-executed.  The staff is warm, friendly, helpful and very approachable, unlike other galleries.  We'll go back again and again. 
I will bring visitors and guests here when they are in town, not only for the  gallery contents but also for the outside sculptures and the vistas.  Great experience and unique items. 
BTW, free admission, has adjacent free parking, and no traffic! In a serene setting.

A real find, unusually fine pieces of art for every pocketbook, accessible and lovely.

This gallery and garden space is lovely and absolutely worth a visit. The gallery has tons of local and regional artists, with a super wide range of price points, and different mediums. 

The gardens have large outdoor artwork, a couple short paths, a pond and bench.

Knowing how much we love this area and given that we were leaving town the next morning, we arrived much too late in the day. The museums weren’t open, and the Grovewood Gallery was about to close. Our fault! Even so, the Gallery continues to feature an amazing array of beautiful handcrafted things.

Such a cute space! Unfortunately the power was out when we arrived so we were not able to go into any of the buildings but the outside space was worth the stop.

Disappointed compared to last visit. There wasn’t really much outside to look at. The grounds must have been damaged in the fall floods and haven’t been repaired yet.  The inside attractions were fair.
