This course was designed with the serious player in mind. Tight, wooded and hilly. Several shots are over a large gorge, with elevation changes on nearly every hole. Currently, 17 holes have alternate pin locations. Long pants recommend (poison oak and ivy).

History
In 1999, my wife Meredith and I created the WNC Disc Golf Club(WNCDGA). Shortly there after, with the help of dedicated WNC disc golf club members, Richmond Hill 1 was born. In 2006, I was asked to move the course to make way for an armory. We pulled up baskets and moved to a completely different part of the park. Richmond Hill 2 was born. Following the devastation of Hurricane Helene, now one year later, Richmond Hill 2 has received an upgrade.
