The Lion and the Rose Bed and Breakfast

This beautiful 1898 inn offers a perfect location - an easy walk to downtown Asheville, three miles from Biltmore and a five minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Each of the five guest rooms has unique art & antiques, without the frilly additions usually associated with Victoriana. The high ceilings, four fireplaces, original golden oak, and stained glass all serve to create an unforgettable experience. The inn is nestled in a lush park like setting with a terraced lawn & private garden areas. There is also a large wraparound porch and fire pit for guests to enjoy. The location and amenities make it an exceptional value when compared to other inns in the area. The four guest rooms include queen beds and the suite includes a king bed. All rooms have an en-suite bath, full gourmet breakfast, WiFi, cable TV/DVD players, luxury linens and soaps, custom robes, 24-hour access to the guest pantry, and free, lighted off street parking adjacent to the inn. We are the only B&B that brews our own beer and offers it as a unique amenity to guests.
