Really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Bohemian Lodge.  The atmosphere was amazing and our room was fantastic.  We will definitely return in the future.  Great location if you are planning on visiting the Biltmore.  Additionally, it is walking distance to several nice restaurants.  Staff was amazing.

Great get away in the mountains of NC

The Grand Bohemian Lodge has fully recovered from the extensive damage of the hurricane. Dining room especially has been restored to its former decor after being completely flooded. Service equals or exceeds what we experienced on a 'pre-flood' stay. Dining staff and valet parking staff were especially friendly and helpful. The room had been recently updated and had a comfortable bed and was very quiet--despite the busy time of our visit. Food was extraordinary.

This is our second time to visit the Grand Bohemian Lodge in Asheville; we love it and will return soon!  The hospitality and services are worthy of a 5-star resort.  We had a brief stay this time, but we commented that we need to plan a trip to Asheville to stay at the Grand Bohemian Lodge - a true destination.  We hope to return soon!

GBH Asheville - a destination hotel!

Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee

We were there for our 35 wedding anniversary and had a suite in the main hotel.  Our room was on the 4th floor and extremely musty upon entering.   I am very sensitive to smells and mold.  We asked for a different room and the front desk manager Kelly told us they only had one room left and it was across the street on the top floor but at least it was not musty but extremely small.  My closet at home was larger than this room.   He was not willing to adjust the price for a much smaller room than the suite we originally reserved. We are Marriott Rewards members and forgot to give them our number when making our reservation but they did adjust our price $40.00 for us when checking in but it should have been $100.00 less.  We thought that was poor customer service.  The manager was not as helpful with us as he could have been or even friendly.  Probably will never return for this reason.  We did end up checking out earlier than expected.  Our little closet room was not worth $700. per night.  Valet guys were wonderful and the young lady that I originally talked to at the front desk who told me they did have rooms open in the main building but manager would not agree too.
