The buffet was the smallest paid hotel buffet I’ve ever seen. I understand the prior poor reviews now. With the exception of the omelette station, the rest was on par with what you get for free at other hotels. I was disappointed by how limited it was given the price. I found far better breakfasts for less a short walk away.

While staying in the Downtown Asheville Renaissance a group of us came here for breakfast each morning, I only attended once and that was plenty for me.  The buffet has decent items on it, with the biscuits & gravy probably being the best.  They have an omelet station too, which is nice, but the service we got one morning from our server was annoying.  We were discussing work and she constantly interrupted for one reason or another.
The venue it bland too, very “hotel” looking.  Coffee was decent though.

I can’t see any other reason to come here, unless you’re staying in this hotel though.

Disappointing breakfast.   The majority of the food on the hot bar was cold both days and it was a very limited selection of items.   While the toaster was hot when the muffin came out, by the time i got to my seat, even that was cold.  Get it together Renaissance

loved the breakfast service.  Please provide the buffet all days. it was sad to not have a buffet on monday, last morning of our visit
