I’m Elliott From—artist, performer, creator, and the inspiration behind Artbeat Live! and Artbeat Gallery & Lounge in Asheville, North Carolina. My journey as an artist has never followed a traditional path. That’s because my art was never meant to just hang on a wall—it was meant to move, to breathe, to ignite something inside the viewer. For the last two decades, I’ve dedicated myself to bringing art to life in ways that break barriers, challenge expectations, and connect people to something greater than themselves.
The Birth of Artbeat Live
My signature performance brand, Artbeat Live!, was born from a simple but electrifying idea—what if creating art could be just as thrilling to watch as the finished piece is to admire? Instead of painting in silence and solitude, I began painting live, in front of thousands. Each show is a high-energy, high-emotion performance set to music, where color and movement collide. In just minutes, I transform a blank canvas into a large-scale painting or abstract piece, often using only my hands, brushes, or even splashes of paint to tell the story.
