It's happening again, magical fae and friends! Get your spring equinox outfits on and come dance with us!
A fusion dance in Asheville for queer folks and enthusiastic allies. Come dance with us whether you're a brand new dancer or you've been dancing for years.
🌿 Dress for the theme: Spring Equinox Masquerade (or whatever makes you feel comfy!)
✨ THE EVENING ✨ 7:00 PM — Doors Open 7:30 PM — Fusion Dance Lesson 8:30–11:30 PM — Fusion Dancing
🎟 Door is a suggested donation of $10. Students with ID are $5. Proceeds go to Asheville Phoenix Fire.
🌀 What is Fusion Dance? Fusion dance is a partner dance style that combines elements from different partner dance genres to create a unique, hybrid movement. Anything (safe and considerate) goes. It's less about "getting the steps right" and more about exploring connection.
🏳️🌈 This is a queer-centered event. If you are not queer or an enthusiastic ally, please stay home. We will not tolerate bigotry of any kind. This event is for queers to feel irrevocably confident about being who they are and to feel safe learning how to partner dance.
While you dance and celebrate You, sip on a zero-proof botanical elixir, an adaptogen-infused cocktail, or a hemp-infused beverage! All of you is welcome here.
