On April 19 at 4 pm, Trinity United Methodist Church will host a screening of Redemption Time, a 70-minute performance film featuring poet Jimmy Santiago Baca and Asheville jazz violinist Christian Howes. Both artists were formerly incarcerated and now use poetry and music to explore themes of justice, dignity, and second chances.
Beyond the film, we’re hosting a live performance, a panel discussion, and a reception at Deep Time AVL to foster real conversation among neighbors.
