Poetic Forms and Freewriting: A Monthly Workshop

This monthly workshop, led by writer Ben Fluet, alternates between classes on specific poetic forms and generative freewriting sessions. We'll spend the first part of this 90 minute class learning about poetry and poetic forms, then we’ll have some time to practice writing. We’ll finish the class by sharing our work and giving feedback and praise. We'll move into more complex forms as the workshop progresses. In September we'll have a freewriting session and in October we'll explore Vilanelles.
