"No Child" at NC Stage
- North Carolina Stage Company15 Stage Ln, Asheville, NC 28801, USA, Asheville,
No Child is a tour-de-force exploration of the New York City public school system. An insightful, hilarious and touching master class not to be missed by anyone who is concerned about the state of our education system and how we might fix it. The play, inspired by Sun’s own experiences as a teaching artist, focuses on the lives of students and their struggles, rather than the No Child Left Behind Act, despite the title’s reference. The play utilizes humor and poignant moments to portray the students’ environment and their resilience in the face of adversity.
