Mixed Media Collage: Winter Window Workshop

Have you ever been out walking at night and looked into the windows around you? Sometimes, especially on cold winter evenings, there’s a sweetness to viewing the warmth inside. This workshop focuses on capturing that feeling, with mini-lessons on techniques, followed by time to experiment and play on your own.

You’ll start by learning techniques to get your creative juices flowing. Then, you’ll learn how to make a tree and apply shading to create depth for your window. Next, you’ll learn how to apply basic principles of design and color selection to enhance and finish your work. You’ll walk away with a beautiful piece to hang on your wall or give to a friend, as well as tips for incorporating mixed media collage into your daily life.

Whether you’re new to mixed media collage or have been doing it for years, instructor Kim Smith’s training as an art teacher and professional artist will give you the confidence you need to be successful!

No previous drawing, painting, or collaging experience necessary!
