Make Asheville’s Longest Fabric Snake with ReMix It

We’re stitching together a legend and tickets are officially closed. Every fabric square, mark, and moment of creativity is helping bring Asheville’s creative reuse center to life.
ReMix It, Asheville’s future creative reuse center, is calling on the community to help create Asheville’s largest fabric snake 🐍✨ After a weather-related reschedule, the snake is back on the calendar and tickets are officially closed.
Everyone who snagged a spot will receive a 10x10 fabric square to personalize at the event, then hand it off to be sewn live into one giant, wiggly, community-made art piece. This snake is truly made of your creativity.
Once complete, the finished piece will first slither into the ArtsvilleUSA gallery space at the Ferguson Family YMCA for an Earth Day celebration, before finding its forever home hanging from the rafters of ReMix It’s future storefront.
All proceeds from this fundraiser help bring Asheville’s first nonprofit creative reuse center to life. Thanks to this amazing community, we’re one step closer and one stitch further along.
