We will go over techniques to create depth, drama, and light. Some techniques include lifting paint off the surface to expose the white of the canvas/paper, creating both soft and hard edges, mixing warm and cool shadows while keeping your values consistent. You will learn layering techniques of your chosen medium and tips and tricks on how to hold and manipulate the brush.

Student should bring their preferred materials.
