Program Description: Do you have poor soil or very limited garden space?
Straw Bale Gardening is a revolutionary growing method that uses conditioned straw bales as both the container and growing medium for your plants. There is no digging, no tilling and it reduces soil-borne diseases.

We will start with a brief presentation indoors and then go outside to TLG Vegetable Garden where Diane will demonstrate how to plant vegetables in a conditioned straw bale. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
The talk is free, but seating is limited and registration using Eventbrite is required.
This is an in-person program, held at The Learning Garden
