Intro to Hand Dyeing: Refresh Your Threads

Refresh your threads with professional, safe, fiber reactive dyes! Taught by Jessica Kaufman of WAXON Studio, you will learn about dye chemistry, how patterns are made, and choose from a variety of patterns and manipulations to dye your items.

BYO shirts, bibs, socks, totes, tea towels - whatever ties your dye! Don't have anything to refresh? Add on an Asheville Tool Library t-shirt with your ticket to dye and take home with you while supplies last. Bring a plastic bag large enough to hold items for safe transport home. Dyes only work on natural fibers (cotton, linen, hemp, bamboo, rayon, viscose, modal, etc.), are safe for city or septic systems, and will not bleed or fade.
