Images with Words (Shape Poems) - art class

Turn your words into images with Lisa Underwood.

This workshop explores the use various typography fonts and your own distinct handwriting to create images. The images are formed by combining and overlapping words; using pencils, markers and printed letters. The process of creating a "shape poem" is very cathartic! You will walk away with a finished piece of meaningful artwork.

Supplies provided: Drawing papers. Pencils. Markers. Inspirational images. 

Students may bring: Simple line drawing of your choice to use as reference. (Optional.)
